Jessica Perry | The Warped Loom
Jessica took a 3 hour “learn how to weave a scarf” class in the fall of 2007 and has been weaving steadily ever since. Self-taught from that point on, she relies on books, fellow weavers and lots of experimenting to learn new techniques and styles. She can often be seen scribbling furiously in one of the design notebooks she carries, as inspiration strikes when you least expect it. Her primary loom is the rigid heddle, but she enjoys working on a variety of small looms as well, such as inkle, tapestry, and pin looms. One of her favorite things about weaving is playing with color, light, and texture to see how it all comes together.
